Historical Background
JW Saints Technical College was established in 2010, with our first enrollment ranging from Grade R to Grade 11. The following year, 2011, marked our first Grade 12 enrollment and successful registration as an examination center, achieving a pass rate of 41.05%.
After analyzing our weaknesses and implementing effective measures, our second batch of Matriculants in 2012 saw a significant improvement with the pass rate jumping to 79.4% - a quantum leap that came as a result of concerted effort by all stakeholders: the Department of Education, the School Management Team, teachers, and learners.
In 2013, our dedication led to an exceptional 100% pass rate, which we maintained through 2015. Though we experienced a slight decline to 86% in 2016, we quickly implemented measures to restore our excellence.
Our commitment to academic excellence resulted in 100% pass rates for 2018 and 2019, reflecting our ongoing dedication to providing quality technical education and preparing students for successful careers.
